Fiji: House Sitter required:

Hi all, I am currently looking for a long term house & dog sitter for my owned house in Waidroka Estate - next door to Waidroka Bay Resort. I have been given another job opportunity in another country and unfortunately, I cannot take my dog with me. I would offer the house for free (pay own FEA) provided the sitter takes care of the dog - daily walks and general care. The sitter would need their own transport as the house is 5KM from the Queens Highway. Would suit a single person or couple without small kids as the house is small. Personal message me if interested. Thx

Fiji: Desperate for someone to look after Dogg!:

Hi everyone, I am in desperate need of someone to look after my dog - Dogg from around the 9th of July to the 14th August. I will obviously pay for this. I am heading home to the UK for a month and there are no good boarding facilities here in Fiji and I would be forever in your debt if you could do this for me..He is a great dog, well behaved and a great companion. As long as you either have a fenced garden (quite tall he likes to jump) or can take him for good walks then he'd be no bother.. PLEASE get in touch if you can help or know anyone that can. Thank you!

Fiji: Fiji's Shark Sanctuary - YOU can make a difference:

Hi All, I am not sure if you are aware - but there is a big campaign to make Fiji waters a Shark Sanctuary. Currently there are SIX shark finning warehouses in Suva that we know of. Each warehouse can produce 1 ton of Shark Fin per month (which equals the death of 12,000 sharks per month - all taken from Fiji waters). The act will :- 1)prohibit the commercial fishing of sharks throughout the entirety of the Fijian exclusive economic zone; 2)prohibit the import and export of shark products in Fiji; 3)prohibit the sale of shark products within Fiji; 4)allow recreational catch and release of sharks; and allow the incidental, artisanal catch of sharks by citizens of Fiji, assuming the subsequent shark or shark products are not sold. If you have time PLEASE sign the pledge at http://www.coral.org/fiji-shark-pledge Be sure to let everyone know. Sharks are one of Fiji's biggest tourist attractions - if this continues, in 2-4 years there will be no more sharks. Many Thanks in advance for reading this post
