If you are looking for good teaching material, I used and can recommend the Pimsleur system of CDs. In 6 months they brought me from an absolute beginner to an intermediate student at a Spanish School in Argentina. I have been told that Peru and Ecuador speak spanish with the least accent or regional variation. They don't just teaches phrases, but a complete language system.

Paraguay: Immigration Attorney:

I just (22 Dec11) completed the application process for Paraguay by myself, without any assistance. It's not difficult, just very pedantic. As a result of my experiences I have started a small business helping people, who don't want to pay the $000s for a lawyer, through the process, so everything is done quickly and painlessly.
