Hi all; I'll be moving to Fiji this year but have been going there for years. Anyone interested to meet some expats living there and making friends, let me know, as I'm also interested in just meeting some people living there or going there for social contacts and not finding myself alone there. Fiji: Working year in Fiji - NEED HELP:

Hello. I've been going to Fiji visiting and holidaying for 15 years. I don't think the Fiji Government has any working programme for foreigners; you can however work as a volonteer but you must get immigration permission for it. It's a great place and close to my heart but choose where you'll stay carefully, the best in a family guest house where you'll be with locals and they'll keep an eye on you. I'll return with a few email addresses of guest houses and one of visa enquiries in an hour or two when I can put my finger on them. Take care

Hello. I've been going to Fiji for the last 15 years or so as I live in a nearby island as well, but Fiji has won my heart. The beaches and quiter places are on the Coral Coast, half way between Nadi and Suva. The "sunset strip" near Sigatoka town is nice. I usually get food from the local markets, cheaper and fresher (in Nadi, Sigatoka or Suva) and I get to meet some real nice locals. Onorina is the lady who will reply, helpful and professional. I'm also moving there this year. I don't know if you're a woman or man but it does not matter.
