Panama: Problems with FBI report?:
I'm sorry to hear what's happening to you. Thanks for your post, I hope you'll keep us updated as I am not at that process yet but hope to be soon. I too have a misdemeanor offense from 31 years ago that was supposed to be expunged. Now I'm a bit concerned about that showing up in Panama when I get there. Is there a way to see exactly what's on you're FBI record?
Panama: What is a taxi cost to get from Playa Blanca to Las Tablas?:
Just did that run in a taxi last week. It cost us 40 doll but we're told by the locals after we arrive that it should have been more like 28.00. If the buses are full and there is a wait involved , you may find someone willing to share a taxi with you.
Panama: RV. living in Panama?:
My husband and I are planning a move to Panama and are trying to weigh all of our housing options. We currently have a 34' ft fifth wheel and were curious about the possibility of renting or buying land and placing on the property. Does this sound completelt crazy? Are there RV parks like in the U.S? If yes, would the cost of bringing in an RV make it not worth it?
Panama: Pet Friendly?:
Planning a move soon with a mini Aussie. Is Panama typically pet friendly? Do dogs just roam on the streets there like in Mexico or do Panamanians keep them as pets? How is the pet food supply?
Ecuador Welcome Forum: Hoopsters leagues in Cuenca:
Hi all, My husband says it is hooping that he will miss the most when we move to Cuenca. Does anyone know if there are adult basketball leagues in Cuenca, Ecuador? if not would there be an interest in forming one? My husband has hooped his entire life and has also coached girls leagues. He absolutely loves the game. We know there may be volunteer coaching opportunities there and that is something we are very excited about. Any information about basketball in Cuenca would be appreciated. Courts, sportscasts, coaching, need, anything. Thanks ahead of time, Tammie
Ecuador Welcome Forum: bringing paintings with us to Ecuador:
Although we are planning to sell almost everything before we move to Ecuador, I own three paintings that were painted for me by a very dear friend that I don't care to gi ve up. Is there a way to bring them on the airplane with me?
Ecuador Welcome Forum: Cuenca construction jobs:
Planning a move to Cuenca this year with my husband. Does anyone have ideas on how I might find out the names of some of the construction companies that are building private and commercial real estate in and around the Cuenca area? My husband is highly qualified in many aspects of construction and is in search of a job in this industry. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tammie
Ecuador Welcome Forum: Gay expats in Ecuador:
Planning a move to Cuenca around that time. If we're settled, maybe my husband and I could meet you for coffee or lunch. We would love to hear about your experiences as well.
