Jamaica: How to get a 5 year old into Montego Bay top private schools?:

Hi, Need advice! Did not look into applying to get my 5 year old into school until now, and the top schools in the area are warning of waitlists due to the age and the fact that children who started at 3 and 4 are moving up into the 5 year old class with first preference, and the limited number of seats. Mount Alvernia is the school I know for sure to be top quality, and it is also near where some of my family lives which makes it easy for them to check in on school-related items if necessary. Is there ANY trick or advice you have tried that gets you past a waitlist? Barring that, what are excellent private schools in Montego Bay (and possibly nearby areas headed toward Reading)? Main concern is that school is known to produce top performers on GSAT. Thanks!
