Switzerland: B work permit / resigning:

I have a B work permit valid until Nov 2003 and am thinking of resigning from my current employer. 1. Does the B permit expire the very moment I resign, or can I legally stay in CH until Nov 2003 and in the meantime try to find a new job (and thereby new B permit)? 2. What happens if the B permit expires with my resignation? How much time can I legally stay in CH to find a new job? 3 months? Any feedback would be appreciated! Jake
