Australia: Moving to Perth from Toronto ON Canada:

Hello there, We are scheduled to move to Perth the 1st week of July. I am trying to find a school for my 5 year old son and pick an area to live in for the next 2 years. There is so much information available online that it is overwhelming. My husband will be working on Mill Street in the CBD. What family friendly suburb is a decent commute? This is a start.
