Pakistan: Moving to Karachi:

I am curious to know who I can be connected with in Karachi when I move there for marriage. I know the culture, how to dress, and how to act, but I am afraid of the anti-american sentiment in Pakistan. I was told to claim to be Canadian but looking for a job is hard when I cannot lie about my country of origin. Any suggestions?

Are you in Karachi currently? I am 26 and am also moving to Karachi to marry my fiancé in early June. It would be nice to have an American friend abroad. I'm excited, despite warnings, but I am also concerned with the anti-American sentiment over there.
