Slovenia: MUST HAVE LIST FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENCY APPLICATION IN SLOVENIA:

I barely survived this taxing process but I hope this info is helpful to gain your temporary residency application with a work permit. It takes six weeks minimum once all 8 items below are submitted 1) Original FBI and state clearance with with Apostille Stamps no longer than 3 months old in validity 2) Translation of FBI & state clearance by a Slovenian court appointed notary 3) Notarized copy of your passport stating it's a true copy,(Passport has to be valid minimally 12 MONTH beyond the intended duration of stay in Slovenia) 4) Notarized true copy of proof of insurance 5) 3,5 x 4,5 cm biometric passport photo 6) Signed Work Contract 7)Work permit ****************************NUMBER 8************************************* KICKER*****2 Finger prints given at the embassy of home country)******* if you submit your application while in Slovenia and not in the states be prepared for jump another hurdle to receive authorization for fingerprinted in slovenian consulate in Italy. GOOD LUCK :) I'm still wondering if it was worth the time and money this process took out of me!
