yes that is true. used cars are not really welcome in brazil. only historical cars got a chance. please notice that cars are way more expensive in brazil than in the US, canada or germany for example. a 5er bmw costs more or less the double.

Brazil: Gays to Brazil:

Gay people in south Brazil got no Problems. I would say that a city like São Paulo, Rio or Belo Horizonte is as much open minded as London, Berlin or Stockholm. OK, there is also violence against gays in São Paulo but on the other hand São Paulo for example got the biggest gay event world wide. But there is the north and the north east of Brazil. Some of the places there are actually dangerous for gay people. I know some gays which came to the south because they could not live in peace in the north east (Pernambuco, Alagoas). Brazil is huge and each region got it's own culture, ideas of life and traditions. Just like the US or Europe. So it's good to check if the region you've chosen is the right for you.

hardly read worst stuff than this. @The company that my hubby works for (the workers there) treat him horrible. people, you are treated as you treat others. i am german and i can tell you brazil is not that bad. if you don't tell each and every one that you never saw such poor people, everything is so expensive, i got fear to leave my house bla bla bla. people are sick to listen gringos trying to tell them that brazil sucks. they are reading the papers and they are watching tv. brazilians know what is going wrong in brazil. want to be accepted in brazil? learn the language and leave your condomino to meet some people. to socialize you have to be social.
