SNP83 I work part time, i am not wealthy, and only know a little urdu. I have gotten a visa to visit pakistan twice, the second time i was there i married my husband. bentonbee i would try getting a imagration lawyer or your local polatition to see if they can find out.

I agree with MH. I have also been to pakistan twice to visit my then fiance, the second time i went over we married. I also dont speak urdu nor am i wealthy. bentonbabee i would try getting a lawyer who knows about visas or speaking to your local councilor, to find out why it was refused so quickly.

Dont expect a toilet like you have at home. there you will have to use squat toilets but they have a jug of water for you to use and no toilet paper. If your a women and get introdused to other local women dont be shocked if they touch your arms,your skin will feel softer then thiers or comment if you pluck your eyebrows / shave your legs. take plenty of sanitery towles with you and sacks to put them in. Other thatn that go with the flow.

Pakistan: cultural customs:

If you are a man you don't shake hands with a women. A women will hug women, elder people will place thier hand on top of your head. when you greet people you say Asalaam Alikum, and in reply to someone saying that to you, you reply wa laykum as salam. As for merchandise, it is sold in shops and an market stalls.
