Hello all, First like to say Thanks for any input you may have on my issue, Im an American National and Engaged to a Brazilian National we have a 9 mth old Daughter together Born In Brasil,I have a stangle noose around my neck with this 180 day limit in the country.I returned from Brazil on March 20th 2012 and at this time I had over stayed my 180 days by 2 weeks and police federal imformed me I could not return intel July 17th 2012 plus my 140.00 reis fine for my over stay when I return. Can I apply for a diffrent kind of visa here in the United States a buisness visa or another kind. and re-enter the country,Before July 17th ,Im trying to get back home to my family,Fiance is having medical issues and I need to be thee for her.

I can not answer your question on obtaining the CPF # Via mail, But I will share this, To get the CPF in Brazil is really easy!! Had to believe I know!!
All you need is a certified copy of Birth certificate, Passport and go to the post office and speak to any teller give them your information and 7 reais and they will print you a yellow piece of paper about one foot long and on it is your CPF # after you can go online and print you paper card, They no longer issue the plastic cards ,Cost to much.One of the ONLY!! doucuments that is easy to obtain
