Wel my wife and I knows eachother for 18 years now . I trust my wife and She trust me . I invest ( bought) several houses and land in pinas . The houses I put them on the rental market and They are all rented . I have a Nice return . I Its true , Its difficult to sell AND you need to be patiënt . Our belongings Will go to the childeren . I always say , let the land come to you, dont go to the land . I already made Nice purchases........ this counts only If you have a partner/wife that you Can trust .

Philippines: Owning a vehicle:

My actual car is a toyota hilux , dsiesel , 2X4 , automatic . I use 8,5 l per 100 km . I love my car and use it even when there's baha . D'ont want to change. Before i had a 2011 hyunday tucscon , auto, 2 liter gasoline GLS, never again , from one gasolinastation to the next one ......... My first car in pinas was a mitsubishi Adventure, diesel , 2 liter GLS sport , 1995, very slow , i think 74 horsepower ,old mecanic , but everybody can work on that car , no problem for spareparts , 12 liter per 100 km . You can not compare thoses cars, but for me Toyota is the best . ( for my budget).

Better sell your car or bike and try to find a similar that your looking on the local market . It ill spare you a lot of money , time, masakit ng ulo and ( mierenda ).

Philippines: Rental Property as an Income:

Well , we are already 3 years on the rental market and i really can not complain . One time i had a problem with a tenant that did not paid me , so what i did , i took her big flat screen television as collateral. She could not afford anymore becoz her boyfriend left her( she was a cavit). So i told her to leave, what she did; She left me with unpaid bills for electricity, water and cable. That was a good lesson for me, now i charge 1 month deposit, 1 month advance and 1 month rent . If they can not afford , i dont give it . Now we have all good tenants . One paid me 6 months in advance and i gave him 500 php per month discount. On all my propertys i have a return from more or less 10 %, so i can not complain . Offcourse , we maintain ourselfe the houses so it is not very expencieve . Yes in the province its cheaper to live. We have our own house , car and motor and 50 k a month is enough for us .

Philippines: Advice to guys with no income:

@ loveinlife, i agree with you , we have properties in pinas and in europe . My house is rented and also our properties are rented in pinas . I already made it clear to the "family", that they have nothing to expect from " US ". My wife , i met her 17 years ago, a widow with 2 childeren,, she knew how hard i worked for that . She is 100 % one with me and will never harm me, becoz she understood her life before.. were going to settle next year for retirement( at 55 ) . I told her my assets will go to her childeren after we passed away and not to my family. I have a wonderfull wife and can tell that we never argue or fight and enjoy life . In the beginning of our relationship ( 9 years ago) , she was mabilis with the pera, but now no more. What counts for her is us, I know i'm lucky becoz i found a good wife who understood longlasting happy life and not temporay like the scammers and other " fancy" girls.
