Good morning and Merry Christmas!!! You may want to contact an air cargo Co in Miami. If you only have a couple of thousand pounds,they are able to fly you'r things at a reasonable rate. I have used TICO Air out of N. Miami and they did a good job. Tell them that Dan Cavanaugh said take good care of you'r things.

It has to do with all the hidden fees,landing fees ,handling fees tax on this tax on that baggage fees,terminal fees, we have a fee for everything. It seems everyone has there hand in you'r wallet. And everyone else is trying to figure out how they can get there hand on it. Wounder why biz is sooo bad here.

Bahamas: Advice needed urgently:

Most of the problems are drug related,even in the U.S. there are places you don't go. So you ask when you get there where the problems are. Where I live in the states we don't have problems ,most of us own guns. The island I am moving to only has about 700 or so people on it and it is 90 miles long.

Good morning! Re: Fish farming I have been looking into this very same thing. I know someone that is starting a fish farm in Marsh Harbor. I haven't heard how it is doing. As for me I don't care for G B. I am looking at doing one on Acklins Is. The Bah Gov is giving some good breaks there. There are many good things about that Is, 90 miles long and the elevation is much better,it also has many lakes on the Is. Please contact me and I will give you more info. There are some great perks for anyone wanting to farm in the Bahamas. I have made plans to obtain some farm land on Acklins Is. I am planing to move to Acklins Is in the near future. I have been in the airfreight biz for several years. I am planing to start serving the Acklins and Crooked Is area. Just returned from there a couple of weeks ago.I have found a partner down there. I am going to be teaching the locals how to grow coral,and how to make Lobster habitats. The coral project is to teach them how to repair the damage done to there reefs with bleach.The lobster habitats are to make it easyer an less costly to harves lobster. I am looking for like minded people to join this venture.

Good morning: I have lived and worked in the Bahamas,on Andros Is. You should try getting a job at AUTEC. You have something that they can use.The good thing about AUTEC is they will cover you'r work permit.They also will provide food and housing. The diving and fishing are great. It is the largest Is in the Bahamas,and is far enough off the beaten path and no crowds.AUTEC has it's main office in W Palm Bch Fl They also have flights to the Is almost every day. Give then a try.
