New Zealand: Emigrating to New Zealand:

Dear All, I hit a small snag while getting my documents ready for the work visa to NZ. Hope someone can help out. I previously stayed in the US for 7 years. According to the NZ regulations, I need a police certificate to vouch for good character in a place I've stayed at for more than 5 years. So the suggestion was to get one from the FBI. But the FBI takes 5-6 weeks to process, which is a bit long, plus there is a finger-printing procedure. Just wanted to know if there's any way around it or I just need to suck it up and hope for the best? If yes, how to go about getting the fingerprint thing taken care of? Thanks in advance Julie-Anne
