Costa Rica: Bringing in prescription drugs from the US:
Does anyone have experience in shipping prescription drugs from the US to Costa Rica. I have a friend that would like to settle in the San Isridro Del General area if he can get reliable delivery of prescription drugs prescribed and only available on a disability policy in the US. He has heard that even medications that were previously allowed when arriving at border crossings and airports were now being intercepted.

Nicaragua: Border crossing questions:
The cost in Esteli is C$1550. It takes just a few minutes, but you have to surrender your passport for several days as the Esteli office of migration sends your passport to Managua for finial processing. But it is quick and easy and you do need to do it several days early.

Nicaragua: 6 months in 6 months Out??:
Your tourist visa in only good for 90 days. It can be renewed for another 90 days. I was able to renew in Esteli. I am quite certain you can renew in most larger towns. After 180 days you must go to CR. I stayed for 4 days to be sure. You may keep redoing this program or apply for permanent residency.
