I am an organic grower in Ibarra. Finca La Amistad offers training to farmers throughout Ecuador and local tours. Only organically raised foods offer product with all trace minerals that enable vitamins and a fuller content of microbes that make an immune system more robust. Biocide laden foods enable disease through a disabled immune system which is why cancer is growing in Ecuador. The food production methods are the same everywhere in the world being driven by large chemical and food producers like Monsanto and Kellogg's etc.

I am an organic farmer in Ibarra Ecuador and an ex excutive in global telecommunications. The article may seem far fetched yet there is truth in that Monsanto has deep pocket friends in the US government and many other governments. Most people have no idea how food is grown and what the food is made of and as a farmer, I learned this from the inside. Almost everyone on the planet has high residual levels of biocides (pesticides, fungicides and insecticides). These synthetic chemicals are actually poisons that accumulate in our bodies and over time reduce our immune systems's ability to repulse cells like cáncer. In addition, since most conventional fertilizers only have no more than 2-3 minerals, the end result is food that does not assist our bodies to use whatever vitamins are available in the food. Organic foods usually come with 60+ trace minerals because we use powdered rock to achieve the mineral input for the plants. Ecuador: Black Man From USA And Family Looking To Move To Ecuador.:

Your question is interesting. Yes there is racism just more subtle than in the US which is obviously getting worse. In Imbabura there is a fairly good distribution of peoples including Afro Ecuadorians. Over a century ago there were black slaves to the Catholic priests who lived in Salinas. They were freed in the 1860's. Today in Imbabura there are many indigenous, afro ecuadorians, mestizos and whites. The racism here is economically stratified and very powerfully structured culturally but you will rarely see any overt attacks against people of color. People here are very tolerant unlike the US.

Finca La Amistad will hold the first ever seminar in Imbabura to be held at our farm in Ibarra on August 8,9 and 10. It will be led by Jairo Restrepo, a well known and published leader on the ABCs of Organic Agriculture. We have also scheduled a second seminar on Microorganisms and Recuperation of the Soil for September 4, 5 and 6 to be led by another famous leader iin the field from Mexico, Ignacio Simon. The US is acting in desperation. The constant refrain of 9/11 disguises a country on its knees economically and politically isolated more and more. Fascism is becoming the new mode. Historically, it is always liberals that usher in the new order, unknowingly. That is how it happened in Germany, Italy and now the US. But the US is not alone unfortunatley. All governments have spy programs, that is no surprise but governments that spy on ALL of their own people, that is fascism.

Most of the vegetables and fruits are produced with chemical poisons in ecuador. The self producers with less than a hectare produce without chemicals but that food is rarely sold and it is not truely organic using minerals, micro organisms and dry organic material. There are small farms throughout ecuador that are organic, about 100 that make up less than one per cent of food production. The rate of cancer has rapidly increased in the last few years, in large part due to the increased use of these synthetic chemicsl fertilizers. If you go on the wirld wide opportunities for organic farms you will find a section for ecuador.
