Argentina: 30 day rentals:

There are alot of 30 day rentals in BA, we prefer that to a long term agreement in case we are not happy with area or apartment. We are living with 8 suitcases and computers. Our company is paying for apartment.

Argentina: rental properties:

My husband is transfering to Ba for 18 mo. with his company. We will be renting probably 30 days at a time in Polomero area. Has anyone had dealing with Apartments BA, Ba Habitat or Mikes Apartments for renting fully furnished and self contained? Thanks

Argentina: Argentina Pecos:

My husband and I are moving to Buenos Aires soon. I take it most people do not have a bank account. That US currency is not accepted, that you can pay for meals, groceries, cell phones, taxis, etc with pecos. My question if people don't have a bank and make a wage how are they paid? In cash, a debit card, not having to do with the bank. Also, if you go next door to Uruguay to visit, I assume the argentina pecos is not used there, so you buy Uruguay pecos to spend there? Also, If you over stay your 90 days and go to Urugray and get restamped when returning to Argentina they don't want proof that you have a ticket to get out of the country? I hope some can clear these items up for me Thanks

Panama: Tax Accountants for Expats in Houston:

Panama: Money in panama:

I know you can make ATM withdrawal from your US bank in Panama. I know that you can bring $10,000 cash with you. My question is when buying a car, paying for visas, rent, etc. where you may need alot of money how do you get it. We will be opening an accout to qualify for that new visa but know the clearing of the check and the time to qualify for account takes time. Also, when the account is open do they give you checks to access your account and an ATM. How safe is your money in a Panama Bank?

Panama: paying panaman taxes when transfering wtih job to panama:

I am curious, how difficut when working there is it to get your taxes straight with US so you are not double taxed? Is there anyone blogging who is in that situation and can you give some advise?
