Saudi Arabia: Freedom of movement for single women:

single women please give this woman examples of your real experience. I too had a very difficult time getting information prior to coming to KSA. I can't tell you about Riyadh because I have not been there but I can tell you about my experience in the Khobar and Dammam. I do not live on a compound so I think my experience comes from a better place. You will be very restricted being a "single woman". Married woman have their husbands for their ticket to freedom. If you get to know other expat women (single or not) you will gain a small bit of freedom by being in groups of expats. There are also organization that you can join for expats and many parties and gatherings to be invited to. The most important thing is you can't be shy about approaching other expats that you see in the shops. They have the knowledge and are willing to share if you ask. You can go to the mall and move about with a driver or taxi but the restriction is the places that you can go. Hopefully other single woman will respond to you. It's a difficult adjustment for most single women but it is possible. How much of a sacrafice are you willing to make to reach your goal?

Saudi Arabia: New to SA, Al Khobar, looking to make friends!!!:

Saudi Arabia: tour for expats:

Are there any tours for expats (single women) from Al Khobar if you are not a Saudi Aramco employee?

Saudi Arabia: American Woman Moving To Dammam???:

Hello, I am a single American woman who will be moving to Dhahran soon. I've read a lot about my restrictions. What I want to know is what can I do for recreation as a single woman besides shopping in the mall. I love nature photography. What are my options to see and the landscape of Saudia Arabia? Are there any single women who are willing to share their experience?
