Malaysia: Crime in Malaysia:
Malaysia shows up very well in most categories on NOMBEA but has a very high crime rate.
What are the components of crime there and how does it affect the quality of life? Robbery across the board and corruption seem to be the greatest concerns.
Can anyone explain if crime is found throughout or in particular locations.
I guess corruption will affect everyone
Ecuador: When the Dollar Collapses:
I have been trying to get a response to the problem of the inevitable demise of the US$ as it affects Ecuador. I am sure that there must be a lot of very worried people in Ecuador.
This country is a very serious contender in my consideration of a place to settle outside of the US. But why would I want to do that if the value of my nest egg will sink with the US? I might as well waste away here.
I have written to the Ecuadoran ambassador in the US and he seems to be avoiding me. Maybe he is not the right person to be asking that question. Any takers with inside information?
