Panama: Transportation to David area:

I am coming back for a 2nd look at Panama. I understand there is an express bus from Albrook to David that leaves around midnight. Can I take a local bus to Albrook from Tacumen or do I have to get a taxi (what will the taxi cost)? Also do express buses run from David back to Albrook during the day or only late night? I hear of others who travel from San Jose, CR by bus to get to David area. Seems that might be more complicated. Any comments there? Thanks

Global Expat Forum: s me it cost about $1,000 to apply for the Pensionado program. Is that true. I am 68 and feel it would beneficial to be a p:

Can a person catch a bus from Tecumen to Albrook or does he have to get a taxi? What does taxi and bus cost? Also, what is the cost of the midnight express bus to David and are there express buses that go back to Albrook from David? Another question please: is it true to apply for Penionsido status one has to pay $1,000? If so is it paid to the government and is that "status" worth the cost? Thanks for your information

Nicaragua: C PAP machine:

Hi all: I was recently diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and am looking for the necessary medical equipment to use. I am finding it will cost lots of money to purchase it here in Colorado. i am moving to Nica early next year and wonder if anyone/expat has this same situation. If so, was machine purchased in Nica. or was it brought into the country when you moved there. Does anyone know the cost of purchasing one in Nica? Thanks for your help.

Panama: C-PAP situation:

Hi all: Is there anyone living in Panama that uses a C Pap for Sleep Apnea? If so was it purchased in the U.S./Canada or in Panama? I have just been diagnosed with SA and am preparing for a move to Panama in early 2013. It is going to cost me a fortune to get one here (even with my insurance and Med). Can it be bought in Panama and if so, does anyone know what it cost and how to procure one. Thanks for the inf.

Panama: Sora:

Can I get a bus from P.C. to go there. I assume if I can, I would need to get one from Albrook. Is there much to see or do in Sora. I want to check out available rentals (as well as look around) for a possible move early next year. Thanks
