Netherlands: Cell Phones in Amsterdam:

Can you take a phone from the US and get a chip/scan card for it to work in Amsterdam - or all of Euro? Please give email for them so I can look them up. How do they charge for the use? Is it better to buy a cell there to use, cost?

Netherlands: exchange funds:

Were is the best place to exchange money in Amsterdam? Asking were is the best exchange RATE found in the city AND at oe around the airport? The funds are in USD. Also is there a better rate for credit cards or cash? Any other info on this subject will be helpful so THANKS. Can a traveler open a bank account there... or were is a safe place to keep cash and valibles?
