Thailand: international adapters for Thailand:

Cameras and ipods can plug directly into the wall socket here. Curling iron needs an adapter. Yes you can get an electric strip and use it with adapters to charge all at one time.

Thailand: Moving to Bangkok soon??:

You won't have any problems fitting in. There are all sizes and shapes of Americans here! We are treated very nicely.

Thailand: Living in Thailand:

There are a lot of retirees here, you can buy a condo but not a property. Downtown BKK would be good if you like city life. I would be afraid to settle in a rural area with no friends and relatives to help you. There are a lot of scammers here. It's hard to make it without help from trusted friends here.

Thailand: Plan to move to BKK:

Permanent residence costs 191,400 baht and there is a test of Thai language.
