Portugal: What is Your Favorite Beach?:

ODECEIXE....west coast just above the limit of the Algarve and Alentejo We went to a new (for us) beach a few weeks ago and thought it was a gorgeous beach. When we came back from lunch at the snack bar the tide was out VERY far and children were playing and adults were walking on the ocean bed. The beach is not accessible for handicapped persons as there are a lot of stairs to climb. The cliffs make this beach a beauty to behold and the ocean is calm enough to swim at the forefront and to surf further in. It is considered one of Portugal's 7 best beaches.
