Panama: Bob Ehlert, American, disappeared in Panama:
A good friend's uncle has gone missing in Panama, where he lives 6 months of the year. His name is Bob Ehlert, and he is in his 60s. His family is obviously very worried.
I have a photo of him with a woman friend; it looks as if it may have been taken at a sporting event. I'd be glad to email it to anyone who wishes to see it. Or, you can email findbobehlert@gmail.com in English, or call 228-9983 in Panama (Spanish, perhaps English as well).
Thanks!
Panama: Looking to meet expats 55 and up:
We'd like to meet a few English-speaking expats, to get their perspectives on living in Panama City. We are not looking for loud music, heavy drinking, or outdoor adventure; my husband is using crutches much of the time. Suggestions of where we might go are welcome!
Panama: looking for a driver:
We'll be in Panama for a week or so in November, mostly in Panama City, scoping it out to move down there in 2014. We would love to find an experienced driver with a vehicle and fairly decent English, to take us out of the city for a couple of days. Would also like to know about how much we should expect to pay, over and above gas costs, if we can find someone.
