Hallo, I am an American woman and was married to a dutchman 5 weeks ago in Leeuwarden a Frisian Province in the Netherlands . I have been here for over a year now and new my husband for nearly 3 years before relocating here .I now have my 5 year residence permit .I really need to find some friends here which is very hard .His family is great but I need to meet some english speaking people to help ease my transition and culture shock .I am 56 years old and am reaching out .
