Wow moving to Jamaica permanently. I wish that was me :) I been on Coldwell Banker Jamaica and they have rentals and homes for sale. I've seen 1-2 bedroom rentals in Falmouth for 320-400 US.

Jamaica: moving to JA:

I would google a lot of articles on expats that lie in Jamaica so you could get the average spending. I think it usually has to do with your lifestyle. For ex. are you going to eat out everynight or stay home? I would contact the Jamaican consulate in your country regarding schooling for your children or just check Jamaican yellow pages for schools and call them.

Jamaica: citizenship through descent:

Hi Marley, Apply for Jamaican citizenship of descent at the Jamaican consulate in UK. I live in Toronto, Canada and the JA Consulate told me it can take 3-4 months eventhough the application says 6-12months. I want to go to JA for 1yr and stay in St.Ann's.
