Indonesia: Itinerary Suggestions:

I am divorced (20yrs) 60 year old male living in and loving Nicaragua. I have decided to travel some while my health allows. I am allowing myself about 5 months to see Indonesia and the region. I am not on a backpacker budget but not on a high dollar one either. I LOVE the coast and have always lived along the coast in SC and now Nicaragua. Going inland for a few days is ok. If you were planning a visit of this nature, what would be your itinerary? Love good food, cold beer, hot women (:-)..could not resist! Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Buck

Philippines: Retired; thinking this might be te place:

Saw acomment of no fishing gear for sell...Is the fishing not good? I am single 59 retired teacher and was looking for coastline, reasonable living costs and good fishing. Any suggestions? And for my first trip there to scout it out, any suggestions on travel choices? Thanks

Panama: Rentals in Pedasi:

I am looking to come to Panama and believe Pedasi might represent the type of envoronment I would like to retire in. What would be the best and most efficient way to locate a decent but not necessarily upscale place to rent while I investigate the area. In advance, thank you for your assistance. Buck

Nicaragua: Finding rentals:

What is the easiest way to locate rentals? I should be there at hte very latest in mid January. I would like to find a place along the coast and an earlier post indicated the only town of any significant size was San Juan del Sur. Any advice on how best to proceed? Thanks in advance. Buck

Nicaragua: Cities along coast:

Excuse me for joining in on this forum but my interest are very similar to Debbie's. In San Juan del Sur, are there many ex pats? My desire is not so much to be among other North Americans but more so as a base of information in English to be present.

Panama: carrying passport while in Panama:

I like the idea of scanning and laminating; for real securtiy where would you suggest an individual keep theirs if renting for a period of time?
