Peru: DIGEMIN Authorization of Absence from Peru for longer than 183 days:
well,, It may appear complicated but follow the logic.
You want absence permission under the auspices of being a Resident.
You say you own the company.
I would think that the Government would not view the company as a private Peruvian Company as the ownership [ You ] are not a citizen.
I do not think you can get absence approval in this way.
here is the immigration website:
https://www.migraciones.gob.pe/
Likely you will not get an English speaking person when you call...
Better to have someone on hand to speak for you..
PS... if you open the page in CHROME you can translate to English

Peru: Visit:
If your new to Peru then the best way to see cultural sites is on tour. Tours are readily available and arrange hotel and sometimes some meals and transport.
The packages are tailored and I am sure you can ask for a English speaking tour guide.
The most popular visit is Macchu Picchu... which is a train ride from Cusco,, the Incan Capital City.........
You have to fly from Lima to Cusco and will stay in Cusco for a few days one of which will be the day you visit the old Mountain Site..............
Lima is a huge city spread out for miles... but the city we think of as Lima is much smaller......
Maybe you will be traveling with a native Peruvian friend so surely you can tour Historic Lima together but I am sure you could find a day tour and learn and experience a lot.......
Outside of Lima a short trip away is Lunahuana,, a wonderful trip near the river, kind of resort like and really,, as far from Lima atmosphere as the moon....
To the north is Huarez,, a mysterious place with lots of sites to visit... and you can walk up to a glacier.........
Further north is Peru's second most populous city area,,, Trujillo and just outside,, Huanchaco,, a comfortable beach town with a lot of Peruvian tourists visiting on weekends... here you can rest, surf, relax and eat...........
A special place also is Cajamarca,,, and famous also.... it is higher up in elevation and is a lot different than the coastal desert...........
Really,, you cannot go wrong with where ever you visit...
wherever in Peru that you travel there are archeological sites to vist
In remote places Peruvians live a lot like they did hundreds of years back so you can even travel time........
I do not think you have to plan so much ahead but the trip to Cusco / Macchu Picchu will take some travel and timing plans................

Peru: Fishing and ...:
Yo!,,,, dave...........
I have been visiting Peru for 15 years... I have lived in Trujillo for Two years and now Huanchaco for another 2 + .
I have been up and down the coast from Lima to Tumbes.....stopping in beach towns like Zorritos and Mancora and little towns that have been fishing the same way for hundreds of years..
Now,,, I have fished on Charters out of Captree, Freeport and Montauk - NY and once off the coast of Maine for Cod.......
In Peru I have not even seen a powerboat, a stern drive,, an outboard,,, nada.... niente.. no less charters for fishing....
Fishing here is done like is was for a long long time / with little boats fashioned from dried reeds grown on the coast...... and with nets....
On the road from Huanchaco toward Trujillo is the commercial fishmarket and I am sure these fish are caught with more sophisticated vessels but I don't know detail...
Possibly at the market you could hook up with one of the fisheman and go out onboard for a day or so but I have no idea what you will find onboard....or how they fish.....
So,,, I don't think your going to find exactly what your looking for but I hope you do.....
of course,,, there is always Surf Casting.......
Women,,, that is a whole other story...LoL !

Peru: search for my home:
Yo,,, Slam...............
you haven't given me too much to go on but it sounds like you have to come and feel things out...
Trujillo is a great and upcoming city....... 2nd most populous in Peru but definitely the most economically energetic......... thriving and growing....
I live near Trujillo now but did live there for a few years.......
It is good,, you need to pick your spots and get to know the city.......
I live in a smaller little city nearby........ but get to Trujillo at least once a week...........
It seems to me you want to start in an inexpensive accomodation so look for hostels / hostals in Trip Advisor....... to get some pricing..........
I think best to consider it like many to be an extended travel and likely you will develop your plan after you have arrived..........
If you have some questions just ask........
pistachio
ps,,,, upon entry ask for an extended visa,,, I think you can get 90 days if you ask........
maybe you will do some volunteer work would be a good reason to ask...
In that time you can explore your options............
Peru: Where could I work/How could I do it:
2xnick,
honestly, you cannot come here and expect to have any earning power. Wages for teaching English would be absurd if you would translate to Dollars.
Generally, formal teaching positions would probably require TEFL certificates.
Also, you would have to be sponsored by your employer for a work visa or come and become a Resident and still,, you May Not have the "Right To Work" here.
And,, that is IF you can qualify for residency,,,,,
and with residency you have to be here in Peru for 6 month of days and no less otherwise you will lose your residency.....
To earn enough in Soles to repay StateSide Dollars,,, you would need earn what would be an astronomical amount of Soles and those jobs do not exist....
Working off the books would earn you local and typical wages,,, meaning,, not enough for your purpose......
Sorry not to be able to offer you a solution to make it happen but honestly,,, I don't see any possibilities.....
If you had enough of a $stake$ to just come to visit for an extended time, see the sites, travel and visit your girls family without having to earn would be a more sensible goal.
And,, it would be one GREAT adventure.................

Peru: Some visitor help please:
Well,,, what's the point of going to Tibet is your now going to leave the parking lot of the Hilton....
Sure,, those places, Miraflores, San Isidro are all safe and cozy but not typical of Peru,, in fact they are less Peru than are the other places...
I am not saying go walking at 3 am in seedy places but really,, there is a lot In Between so really,, if you want to know Peru you have to make an adventure .........
