Kyrgyzstan: Nanny:
Our nanny leaving us soon. Our son, she looked after for 11 months going to the nursery.
She understands English and little German, has university degree, cooks uighur food. My son loves her. Her name is Khalida, phone number 511726
Kyrgyzstan: Kids activity?:
I have 2.5 years old son and 5 months old daughter. The eldest enjoys Panfilov’s park a lot. There is lovely grey pony just by the Belyi Dom fence we are particulary go there for. Another lovely attraction is the train going around castle. Another park is opposite Asanbay microrayon, has the same attractions and cleaner than Panfilov’s park.
Park Pobedy, between 10 microrayon and Orto Sai is lovely for summer picnic, seeing squirrels and listen to old aged grannies singing in the evening. It has granite column where a lot of children seem like to play. In the summer there is bicycle rental.
“Detskiy mir” (on Chui/Ibraimova), “Karavan”(on Gorky/Elebaeva) and “Rahat Palace”(on Toktogula/Timiriazeva), “Beta stores 2” (in 7th microraiyon) have indoor playgrounds. They are very loud in weekend and holidays, I would suggest to go there daytime on a weekday.
My personal favorite is Monaco (opposite Asanbay microrayon) with swimming pool. Best children playground, very clean and safe. Buddha bar (Sovietskaya/Ahunbaeva) has nice playground, though very close to noisy road.
Kyrgyzstan: Health Care in Kyrgyzstan:
I gave birth this summer at Prof Asymbekova Clinic http://www.clinic-a.in.kg/
Compare to NHS the bill was quite high ? for the antenatal care and delivery around £510 in total.
The Surgery is clean and relatively comfortable, only the privacy being quite en issue. While waiting in the queue I could overhear the conversations between midwife and previous patient. Delivery ward is clean and comfortable. Team of midwives are nice and polite.
