Advice for New Expats

Search for country with weather of your choice, good economy. $25,000 should get you there and hold you over until you find something to do. I came to China on about the same and now my Medical Device company is doing well. I do not speak Chinese.

Panama: Boquete Attack & Robbery:

Yeah, I read something like this a few months ago. Here's my reply again. arm yourselves, be prepared. If a few of them end up DEAD, you will be surprised how quickly these roberies will end. The Police cannot help you, they are to far away and to lazy. if you choose to live here, prepare yourself to take matters into you own hands. It works for me!

Panama: Burglars:

May 29, 2013 I doubt that you will post this but here goes! Panama: Boquete Burglars: If you live in the Alto Lino area of Boquete, which is rural acreage country and not near too many neighbors, you need to take immediate measures to protect your home from burglary. The problem with you folks is this. You are not willing to go the distance to protect your home and family. EXAMPLE: I'm not going to tell you where ( We ) live in Panama because ( we ) do not want the Burglars to know that we are lying in wait for them. ( We ) have armed ourselves with some very large "Machete's, Big Sugar Cane Knives!" They are not kept to sharp because we really do not want to kill anyone unless necessary but they are sharp enough to do SERIOUS BODY DAMAGE to anyone that is caught in our homes, or even caught trying to break in and IF they make it into the home,,, ( We ) are laying traps for them with someone hiding inside our homes while the rest of the family has gone out to shop or a movie. The only way to stop these punks is to take them on at their level. If you are afraid to protect you home and if the police is not doing their job, then its time to take business into your own hands ( or ) "Get out of Dodge." We HAD similar problems in the country where I came from until we decided to take the law into our own hands. Guess what happened? "IT ALL STOPPED OVERNIGHT!" Panama: Insects - Boric Acid - Guaranteed!:

Comon folks, Doesn't anyone know anything? I've been using Boric Acid for every kind of insect that ever lived. Its harmless to Humans and to your Pets, but it stops ALL INSECTS with just a thin layer around your base boards. It's hardly noticable and if kept dry, it last forever. Guaranteed!

United States: how to open bank account??:

Very easy, www.HSBC.com, choose the stae where you want to open it, and they will do it online or on the phone for you. once you have your checking account, they will issue a Debit Card. Most any Credit Union will give you a savings account also, with a simple deposit online. I know this works, I just did it. Very simple!
