All you have to do is purchase a Honduran sim card from tigo or claro...I use tigo. I just switch them when I go back and forth. Or you can buy a cheap cell phone here but I prefer using my regular phone

Either a bus from Tela to Ceiba then the ferry or fly from Tela to Ceiba. No SPS trip necessary.
