Pakistan: Living in Lahore:
I have been requested to work in Lahore for 3years, am female and am a bit concerned, about the safety and cultural differences. I currently live in South Africa, and contrary to many peoples believe it is fairly safe.
In addition its very westernize and i dont have to conform to any dress code, except how i see fit.
Im not sure that i want to change my way of living.
Having been brought up in South Africa, has equipped me to deal with many challenges, however my life style and life choices are all within my span of control.
Also safety is of concern to me, as i live in a very secure estate and everything from malls, to supermarket are within close proximity.
I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me some feedback.

I wonder if you would be so kind as to advise me on the following. Im South African by birth, female, muslim but am not very religious. I have been brought up in SA, and live a very western life.
Whilst many think South Africa is not safe, those who live here will tell you differently, like in every country you have to be careful.
My primary concern is safety, lifestyle, and dress code.
Would i have to change my dress code to confrom to there's? What is the standard of living in Lahore, which is where i will be based?
I personally do not want to sacrifice my personal choices; whilst i also respect their values and believes.
If anyone can assist me or give me information i would be most grateful
