Jordan: Transformers and UPS for PC and US appliances:

Hello, I have just arrived in Amman for a two year stay and my wife works on a USAID public health project. I am setting up our new apartment near the Four Seasons Hotel and I am searching where to buy step down transformers 220 to 110 for use with our US kitchen appliances and an UPS for our PC. I have been to Smart Buy and Carrefour and and City Mall but none sell these two items. Our sea freight will not arrive until mid-Feb and I have several transformers already as our last post was in West Africa, in Ghana. I am assuming that there are local electronic supply dealers with these but do you know of any names specifically that I could go to via taxi. Kind regards Dale
