How much in USD would it cost to build a house in Jamaica. I've heard a varying value. I just want a basic family dwelling with 3 bedrooms. I'm looking to move to the blue mountains.

Hello I too am looking at buying a farm in Jamaica. I am looking at the north end of the Island. I'm looking at coffee, bananas, and vanilla. I am reading conflicting reports of cost of land, building a house, roads, and how safe it is to live in the mountains. Any advice, help would be appreciated.
