Ivory Coast: Life in Abidjan:

Hello everyone, I'll probably be living in Abidjan next year because a French company is offering me a job opportunity. I spent two weeks in Abidjan for work this year but I did not have time to enjoy "local people lives". Is it okay to live in Abidjan ? How is every day life for European people ? Is it safe ? in which neighborhood is it better to live ? what do you do during your weekends ? is it easy to work in Abidjan ? is it hard to drive their ? I am French by the way but I like speaking English and other languages (Spanish, Portuguese) so if I am in Abidjan next year, I will be happy to meet English speaking people there ! Thanks a lot for your advise and your every day life tips !
