Australia: Moving 2 Brisbane in 8 wks.....:

Hi, We're Mike & Jackie With 2 kids aged 9 & 11. We are flying to Brisbane at the end of Nov, Ready to make a new start.We're thinking around the Mooloolaba area, but we intend to rent to begin with just to be sure. Mike is a Ceramic Tiler. We have done lots of research but have got lots of questions. We dont know anyone there and are keen to chat to anyone who has moved there from England. Or is planning to. The kids are very keen to E-chat to other kids in simular situations. Also if anyone is begining their visa application and we can help with any advice we would be happy to. My name is Mike & I am a Ceramic Tiler. My wife Jackie and I are in our mid 30s with 2 kids aged 10 & 8. We have applied for a visa and are hopeing to move to the Sunshine Coast. We would like to hear from anyone who is making a similar move, or anyone who is already over there. It would be nice to hear from anyone who is in the same sort of business. Or the buiding trade.

Hi We are hopefully moving to the Brisbane area as soon as we hopefully get our visa. We are in our mid 30s with 2 kids aged 8 & 10 and my hubby is a Ceramic Tiler. Would like to hear from anyone in a similar situation. This visa lark is a nightmare and takes to long. We want to go now. Fed up of England and its grotty weather.

Hi Susien We are in the process of hopefully getting our visa. We have 2 kids aged 8 & 10 and my hubby is a ceramic tiler. We went to Oz Jan 2000 for a month to check it out as I needed to see it before I made my decision, With the kids to think about. I was well impressed it is definately where I want my kids to grow up. We went to Brisbane area it was beautiful, definately need to be near the sea can't be doin' with cities. Need to chill thats wot it's all about. Have you applied for your visa. Be nice to keep in touch and follow each others progress.
