Panama: Retirement in Las Tablas, Panama:
Hello, saw your reply here an would like to email you about that area. My friend Mary an I will be in Panama, arriving the city Apr 27. After some exploration we will be staying in the Las Tablas area from mid May to look for rental housing. 2 or 3 bedroom furnished. Would like to chat with you about the area and your experiences, have a great day, Leon.
Ecuador: Presential Election:
Hello, planning to visit Ecuador this summer, possibly to retire and was curious what the population thought of the President. I noticed a few negative articles but I generally do not always believe press releases. I am not political, just curious on what people think the future holds for the country. It would appear a lot of positive things are happening now so would appreciate any feedback, thanks, Leon.
Global Expat Forum: medicine:
Are there any problems bringing prescription medicine thru customs in PTY,
Panama: Chitre Expats:
Well said, Mary an I are arriving in Panama first of May. We will spend a few days in the city, then off to Gorgona for while. I believe we will spend some time in Chitre. I am retired an thinking of making Panama my home, just not sure which part. Would like to rent a 2 or 3 bedroom Panamanian style house, rent a car, an see the countryside. Thanks again for the post, Leon.
Panama: crossing borders with pets:
We will be spending time in Panama with two dogs. Not sure about traveling to other countries, Costa Rica, Belize etc. with our dogs. We don't have a car, so, must rely on public transportation, is this possible.
Panama: new business in Panama:
Anyone have info on starting a new business in Panama and does it aid in applying for Visa.
Panama: Pensionado Program:
So when you apply for this visa, is it true you are required to have your SSI check deposited monthly in a Panamanian Bank. I had hoped to just keep my us bank an continue to have my checks deposited there.
