Bahamas: Real estate price drop:
I just came from Grand Bahamas and saw a lot of damage nearly 80% of the island due to the last hurricane. Some buildings never recovered from the previous hurricanes (two at the same time). I went to Bahamas looking for property/land and further info over out islands too.
I have an agriculture farm plan that the government recommended Andros or Eleuthera and another smaller island, so will be buying there.
Spain: Traveling to Costa del sol in April:
Spain is a lovely place to live and retire and not expensive.
I am moving to Bahamas to the out islands and it is not expensive if you buy land and build and plan to build a small house for a start.
Weather in Andalusia/Malaga is warmer if you are looking for a change.
Bahamas: Port lucaya, Freeport:
Is it possible to provide further info on these two areas in Freeport?
1 - Darshana Condominium, Bahama Reef Yacht & Country Club
2 - Port lucaya, gated canal front community (no actual address)
I've received the photos for these two rental properties but need to check safety issues first.

Spain: Where to buy in Spain???:
I don't think you are naive since I have asked the same question when I started looking where to buy, I'm still looking though.
I've lived in several places to check where would be the best place. I am now in Valencia/Barcelona area. Madrid is a good place too but I rather prefer the less touristic seaside. I am also looking to buy a farm with olive groves in the countryside since so far it seems the best area to live and invest. From what i have seen it is a good investment to buy a property in Spain if you can afford it. You just need to start somewhere based on preferences.
Spain: Retire in Spain, how much per month?:
With that income, you can live anywhere in Spain. Barcelona and Madrid are not that expensive either. If you are not buying at this time and you want to live in Madrid, there is plenty of new property available to rent.
Spain: Utterly confused. Considering moving my family to Spain or France. Craving insight from those who've done it!:
I traveled through Spain and France looking for the same answer. This is my resumed version:
I lived for some months in France, and apart from Paris, I didn't quite like it since the people were not very warm and the winter was cold.
As for Spain, I traveled everywhere to see where to live. I am currently in Valencia but studying Barcelona/Valencia cities. i rather prefer this side of Spain since it is not that hot and less touristic.
European summer is hot but not that hot and quite pleasant if you have the resources.
Since it is a matter of personal choice, i would suggest you rent a house for the summer (or longer) to see how you would like it. Maybe in Barcelona...fairly easy procedure.
Spain: Need help locating a couple of older Land Rovers to purchase:
Do you only want Land Rover? I have a Jeep Cherokee I bought in Athens but it is american. I want to sell it since i plan to move to Bahamas.
Where is the car dealer located? I am around Barcelona.

Spain: Seeking Alicante rental:
Check this link here: https://www.kyero.com/en/spain-property-long-let-1
I was looking for a short rental a while back and the contact was quite fast and the price not so high for a regular holiday rental. I think they are in UK but quite professional.
