Iceland: newcomer:

Hi everyone my name is Damon im from England,Ive been researching iceland and the way of life there and would realy like to live and work in the beautifull country.I know the was a economic recession but im wondering if i would be able to gain employment there I have skills in construction and also gained a qualification in telecommunications but i would do any sort of work,farm work, fishing boat work ,anything.I have visited a few jobsites but there in Icelandic and I only speak English.I understand accomodation is not easy to find but just a room would be ok for me.I look forward to any replys.
