Life in general is easy for expats here, very cheap and not that dangerous compared to other african countries. The country isn't that much modernized, its no Dubai for sure, but its still nice. Cost of living is cheap as I said, you need to look out from pickpockets on streets especially at Independence Avenue. As for your wife, I don't know if she can find a job as a therapist here, she has to come and ask.
