Hungary: Hungary in the EU after the UK has gone:

The UK provides 12% of the EU budget. There are lots of EU countries who are and will continue to be net receivers of EU funds. Germany and France also have founder-member privileges. So with the UK out it will not take many more exits to destroy the EU. Maybe France and The Netherlands will leave. So with the EU facing a weak financial future or a complete collapse how would Hungary cope in these circumstances? Is Hungary now a net receiver of EU funds? There is some hope for the EU. After the UK exit the economic powerhouse that is Scotland may leave the UK and join the EU.

Hungary: UK person moving to Hungary after Article 50 is triggered:

Presumably the UK is a full member of the EU until the exit date, regardless of the date of the triggering of Article 50? Thus someone from the UK who moves to Hungary before the actual date when the UK leaves the EU (at least two years after the triggering of Article 50) would have the right to take up full Hungarian permanent residency? That would seem to be the logical state of things. Is that the case?

Hungary: Hungarian Dictionary and Verb Table Book:

I am English and at the moment living in Spain but plan to move to Hungary. Please can anyone advise on what are the best value dictionaries (Hungarian > English & English > Hungarian in the same one) and the best verb table books and the best service to use to get them sent to Spain? Within the likes of Ebay and Amazon etc who are the most reliable sellers? Are there better options to use than Ebay and Amazon such as mail order direct from a reputable supplier? Also, what about language classes on free to air television, with appropriate tie-in books? I believe that it is possible to record these programs from anywhere around the world and buy the appropriate tie-in book and dvd. These Hungarian > English and English > Hungarian materials are of course much more difficult to discover than the obviously more popular languages.

Hungary: return to hungary:

“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.” ? Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion Richard believes that the Bible is not the best place to learn morality, albeit he wrote the above in mischief because he knew that the book reviewers would quote it.

Hungary: Livinf rural:

Is it a matter of nationality? What nationality are you?

Hungary: Moving over:

Can a foreigner (from within the EU) who is not yet registered in Hungary buy a van there and legitimately use it there? I intend to go through the process of buying a house in Hungary but whilst that is in process buy a van to use for moving my goods to Hungary in several journeys over a few weeks. So to begin with I would have a temporary accommodation address in Hungary.

Hungary: Correct Sequence Of Arrangements When Arriving:

Suppose that I do a couple of house-hunting trips to Hungary and find a house to buy to live in permanently. Presumably I need to set up a bank account? What document does the bank need, just proof of owning the house and maybe passport? How about getting the gas / electricity / water billing changed? Do I need to show proof of owning the house plus passport? What is the correct sequence in which to organise these basics? Presumably in the first few months there will be numerous situations in which documentary proof of identity / address are needed? But some of this is chicken / egg. Presumably it will take a few weeks in order to receive a utility bill, which can be used as partial proof of identity?

Hungary: 5 dül? 44:

Can somebody please explain what or where '5 dül? 44' is? It does not get translated by Google Translate. It appears in a lot of house descriptions on the Corvin estate agency web site :- "House consists of 2 room(s) is for sale in 5 dül? 44.. 1. floor, 1 kitchen(s), 1 bathroom(s), 1 toilet(s), the property has a 15 m2 garage" etc.

Hungary: Hungarian Equivalent Of ISA:

For residents of Hungary is there the equivalent of what in the United Kingdom is called an ISA?
