Turkey: Adana:

I am moving to Adana soon - to work for the US military there. I've lived in Izmir before, but never spent any time in the Adana area. Any advise on the best places to live? I love the villages and I adore the sea, so I would like to be as close to both as I can.

Turkey: Wanting to move in 1 year:

Turkey can be addictive, so don't be surprised if you end up staying more than a year. Please have some savings so you can live while you look for work. You can live quite cheaply in most places - Istanbul is often expensive, though. Do you speak the language? That would help enormously and it is not difficult to learn, with a little diligence. Good luck. I lived in Turkey for two years and have been back in the US for two years. I miss Turkey daily and hope to move back myself very soon. I know you will fall in love with that wonderful country and enchanting people.
