Canada: Moving to Canada as an Architect:

I'm a Canadian .. every province and every city can be very, very different. Saskatchewan is a large province ... depends on which city he is speaking of. For work, you are really better off in Calgary, Vancouver or Toronto. You will find that it is great to have high quality and free schooling and medical, but taxes are a real killer - they are insane IMO. Canada IMO is the most calm and safe and sane country in the world though (and I have been to MANY countries) - so it really depends what you are looking for. Research more and I would suggest get another immigration lawyer.
