El Salvador: Rental House/Apartment Needed:

Hello, My husband and I have just relocated to El Salvador from Panama. We are currently looking for a place to rent that is near Santa Tecla or San Salvador, for inexpensive. Right now we are living in what would be called "urban" zoning area, so we are familiar with what cheap can mean. We are both still looking for employment and I know that isn't super easy to find here either but with bi-lingual backgrounds plus more we are hoping to find something soon. I appreciate any advice and thoughts about living areas that aren't too scarey. Thanks, A&M
