Guatemala: Huevos and changing the price?:

I read through the country reports on this website. One of them said something about being careful to pronounce huevos correctly. Why is that? Is there something close to it that is rude or a cuss word? Also, two posters said it took some getting used to that an agreement would be made on price, but then the price charged would be more. Could someone please explain? How much more? Also, is that for both goods and services? Thank you.

Guatemala: Prescription meds:

I take a number of meds that are prescription in the US - blood pressure and stuff like that. None of them are controlled substances. Do you need prescriptions in Guatemala to buy meds like that, or can you get them without prescription so long as you can tell the pharmacist whatever the drug company has named that med in that country? Or can I bring some prescriptions with me that can be filled locally? How does it work?

Guatemala: Bottled water:

Is all bottled water safe to drink? If not, what brands should I avoid, and what brands should I buy? I'll be in Antigua. Thanks.

Guatemala: Rentals in Antigua?:

I'll be spending June learning Spanish in Antigua at Antigua Plaza, 5a Avenida Sur. I'd like to rent a studio or one-bedroom apartment reasonably close by. (I won't be staying with a family or in a guest house because I have to do some work while I'm there). Any recommendations of specific places or reputable real estate agents would be much appreciated. Thx. JV
