Thailand: Traveling to Thailand, looking for a Thai translator and car/driver:

I am traveling to Thailand in December or January for 1-2 months. Possibly in Sept or October. for two weeks. I'm looking for Thai contacts for a translator and a car/driver. Also, recommendations for good reasonable hotels near The Emporium, Pathum Wan areas. Prefer with refrigerator and microwave. At least 3 star rating, no hostels. Thanks for your help and recommendations.

Colombia: Is Armenia area worth a visit?:

"psorensen" I like your lifestyle! :-)

Colombia: Armenia - Salento Info Please:

Are there any ex-pats living in Armenia and Salento area that could give me an idea about living there? I prefer a rural lifestyle but close to a small town, and I think the best way to travel is by a Willys. :-) Thanks in advance & PM's are also welcomed.

Colombia: Retiring To Colombia:

I lived and worked in Colombia for several years, I banked with e-Trade Bank, there are no ATM fees anywhere in the world, I also used this account for receiving credit cards (merchant account) as well. The ATM fee is charged by the ATM bank or owner, you will always be reimbursed immediately. An ATM ate my card once and the bank in Bogota said someone would be around to service the ATM in a few days, e-Trade send me a new card over night. In 12 years I never had a Colombia bank account, but Banco Davivienda was my choice for workable problem free ATM's. they also are in Costa Rica and the same good service.

Panama: How about Volcan? (from those actually living there):

I am considering a trip to Volcan in a few months as a possible place to live. I prefer a cooler spring like climate and have read Volcan is the best place for rural living, climate, good folks etc., I don't need to be parked in the middle of a Boquete Gringo atmosphere, I have read some good things about Volcan beside lower cost of living, but more important to me is a good quality life. Need some in sight from THOSE ACTUALLY LIVING THERE. Or any other towns that would be cool, rural & small. Thanks.

Costa Rica: Costa Rica vs Panama:

I would like to know from those that have lived in Panama, then moved to Costa Rica like about Costa Rica over Panama. I'm going to make the move, just need to decide where. Thanks

Panama: Mountian towns:

Are there any other nice little mountain towns besides Boquete that may be a nice rural place to live? I was in Boquete about 10 yrs. ago when it wasn't much of a town,I like the temperature but do not prefer Boquete. Thanks

Costa Rica: NEED A GUIDE -- WILL PAY:

Try www.CostaRicaDriverTourGuide.com He is a bi-lingual Costa Rican with knowledge of the entire country and his rates are VERY reasonable.
