I was wondering if Guatemala had weight loss surgeries at prices similar to Mexico, 4000.00 for most Weight Loss Surgeries, as compared to 10-20k in the USA. I think that it is more reasonable to the US prices, but if I could get it at 3-6k in Guatemala, I would consider it. Patrick

A Visa for a Guatemala local to come visit me in the US, acquiring the Visa and paperwork needed to visit. Or to get a newly married Guatemalan who married a US Citizen to the States,(US)? Guatemala: Visa issues:

I am going to be in country 7/24 to 8/1 , with the idea of going to Antigua for a day or 2 , then down to Pacific Ocean for a day or 2 of fishing, spending a night on the coast and then back to the GC. San Cristobal Mall area. Is there a great reliable , late night airport service to get from airport to this area at that time of day, as my flight comes in at 10pm or so, then 1hr for getting thru everything , is that about right, customs and baggage claim? Still looking for a place to stay the night in Antigua for us, and on the coast the night we will be there, but our fishing boat guy sent me a list of a few options, so I will ask my local friends to see which may work for us. thanks for your replies to previous post, GG , hopefully we can meet up if you are still interested in your thing, I still am. Cant wait for my quick visit. Also is getting a visa for Guat's to come back to US to visit a huge deal or just a matter of the cost of the visa paperwork involved, is it a simple process, or is Lawyer help needed?? ( hope not) Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated to. If I marry a local , I may wish to stay , as US is getting scary, but she has a daughter too, where one goes both goes, as it should be, Is this done by me at our US Embassy otr must it be cleared thru their government , then the US too? May just be easier to move to Antigua and stay there as a local business person, if I can . no? ok this was a hidden post, huh

Guatemala: mothly or weekly rental:

Looking for a place in near San Cristobal Mall, or Anitigua for min. 1week or if need be a min. 1 month as I plan to visit to look aound then come back 6mths or 1yr later, unless a few things fall into place sooner. 2 br pool or hot tub for rehab reasons if possible , or near a facitlity that can provide aquatic thereapy, very near if possible. looking for a gated community, plz. a room rental for a week would be acceptable for my visit this time. thank you Patrick send message

What can anyone tell me about this for this country? Mexico, yes it is big business, but I like Guatemala, and have family here, any thoughts. I did here of a Dr.Rodrigo Gonzalez Toledo, but not sure where he is, or the price for these services? Lapband and Belly Button Hernia, yep i am a mess, but maybe with help i can become a more physically fit person.

Guatemala: A quick fishing trip to Pacific, need some help.:

I was down in Guat a few months ago, met 1 guy and his family, wonderful people, missed meeting a few others, as 1 was in the states then, the other in Antigua just did not happen. Now I am coming back on August 17th, and going fishing for a week , leaving again on August 24. I want to invite the people who I met, and was to meet to join me, if they can, and was hoping they may help me find lodging for a day or 2 in Antigua, as I want to see the place and have a chance to meet someone there, you know who you are. Monday I will be fishing with family, but Tuesday-Friday are open to split a boat, it is a 6hr trip, 7am-1pm for 200.00, the split price, i am willing to split and you can bring 3-4 people, as there is only me, so let me know soon please if you wish to do this. I emailed the people I had in mind , but they apparently check there email very little, let's hope they see this and check it soon. Also if you need something brought down , let me know, maybe I can help, I may have 1 suitcase I can use to bring goody s with. ok,

I want to send a box or 2 of stuff to G City, with various things in. Shoes, clothes, games, toys , food stuff from US, videos, etc... what is the best way to do this, and i was thinking of sending it to a school or Church to make sure it does not get lost or confused on the address , is this ok?
