Orte, check it out.

Hope you have better luck than I did. I tried a few years ago and was left in the lurch.

Italy: Car thoughts:

We have a 2015 Peugeot 208 turbodiesel and find it very fuel efficient, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound and comfortable. Ours is just a front wheel drive and has climbed some very steep and narrow grades. I am a retired automotive executive (not affiliated with Peugeot) but find their cars to be very durable, especially the diesels.

Italy: In Italy at Last:

Couldn't help but laugh at your comment about the security at the Rome airport not acknowledging your cat. I can top that, my wife and I have gone through the Rome airport many times and they don't acknowledge us; the security personnel (young men and women ) are always too engaged in conversation with each other. I love ITALY

Italy: Living cheapely in Italy:

Does anyone know of a reputable and reasonable person who can help me with the research and paperwork to obtain my Italian citizenship. My grandparents on both sides are from Italy. I started the process with two so-called experts and both flaked out after a few weeks. Thanks! I can also be reached at: j_candela@yahoo.com

Italy: Credit Cards with new chip:

My US credit union has a full chip and pin card; we received it this last May and used it all over Europe. aiecu.org

Italy: Expat Wanting to Move to Italy and teach English:

Hi, Can not help you with your request but maybe you might be able to help me. In obtaining your Italian citizenship did you use a service to assist you with it? I have tried using two different companies and one person, all unsuccessful in helping me; they all turned out to be "flakes" or super-expensive. My grandparents on both sides are from Italy and this should not have been too difficult for them but they all petered out. Any assistance would be of help. I can be reached here: cartalk@att.net Grazie!

Italy: Real Estate Agents:

Big, general question; what is the overall real estate market like in Italy, up, down, sideways? Thanks!
