Australia: Oz Citizen relocating from US to Oz:

I'm an Australian citizen, born in Perth, planning to relocate to Adelaide in 2004 with my wife & daughter (US citizens). I left Australia when I was 2, so know very little about it, but nonetheless Australia is pulling me back to my roots! My plan is to work part time and enroll full time at university in either Adelaide or Perth. I'd like your feedback on the following: 1. what steps folks have taken in funding and completing their own relocations from US to Australia 2. what relocation costs others have incurred 3. what steps others took to find employment in Australia. My current profession is in microelectronics and optoelectronics component design. 4. a good source of info for cost of living comparisons 5. the best place to drink a beer in Adelaide and/or Perth Cheers! - Ralph

Australia: Moving from Arizona to Perth:

I am an Australian citizen, born in Perth (Subiaco) & lived on Waikiki Beach, who left at the age of 2, so I don't know it very well at all. Nonetheless Australia's pull on my soul is too much to resist! What are some of your favorite spots in Perth? Regards, Ralph
